A special invitation
to the youth of our church!
(Open to youth in grades 8-12th)
The Daniel Pearl Education Center in East Brunswick will sponsor a one-day trip to the nation's capital to visit the US Holocaust Museum and the surrounding area. We anticipate that this trip to the Museum will serve as a powerful reminder of what happens when civil society abandons tolerance and understanding
The Daniel Pearl Education Center has extended the invitation to our church and we would like to respond to them quickly.
We will leave in the early morning by coach bus (from E. Brunswick) on Monday, February 16th, arrive at the US Holocaust Museum at 10:30am, tour the museum, have lunch and tour the surrounding Washington area (the Lincoln Memorial, the Martin Luther King Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial Wall) and then head back to East Brunswick and be home by 7:30pm. Being that Monday, February 16th is a holiday you will not have to miss any school.
There is absolutely no cost to you. The trip really is the Daniel Pearl Education Center's gift to you. The Daniel Pearl Education Center has invited other local churches and organizations. They hope that we will take them up on their offer. We would like to have a few youth and parents go as representatives of our church. If you are interested, please contact me immediately
